My Departed Sanctuary

An ocean of grief is settling down my shore.
Fantasies are magically swept away.
Souls wandering around a lonely place inside my mind.
Beautiful melodious hymns are no longer heard.
Memories of what could have been possess me.
I seek the warmth that once embraced me.
The beating heart that was once my sanctuary.
The blood that ran down my veins.

Nothing is there..
Emptiness surrounds me.

As reality strikes me, my wrecked heart silently weeps..
A silent tear mourning a sorrowful tragedy.
Astonishingly, I realize.. my body is forever cold now!
