Simplicity

Alice was a friend of mine
We had our fights from time to time
I do not know when she stopped loving me
The outcome is simple, as it should be

Alice thought better to stop being my friend
I suppose that was the day, I was better off dead
I dropped two blood thinners and took a knife to my wrists
I don't suppose you understand the simplicity in this.

"I'm fcukin' innocent
They won't break me"
~Fake It- Seether

Alice doesn't understand what she forced me to do
She hurts herself with every word because it hurt me too
Alice'd rather see me burn than admit to needing help
So with a simple twist of words she twisted me straight into hell

Alice will never need help until she learns to love
I thought I knew it but the way she left probably means I'm dumb
Her words like bracelets played across my wrists
Alice, can you not see, the simplicity in this.

Alice got told to leave on day
by poets who wanted her away.
Alice lost love when her poet did,
do you understand the simplicity in this?
