Forgiven?

And never let us hold one another,
Lest my emotions for you betray me again.
It's so hard for these emotions to be smothered.
Hiding them so deem, where they've always been.

Please just touch my hand once more.
I still feel just the same as I always did.
Wishing to God that I'd never opened that door.
The love for you I have still, as always, hid.

Wanting everything, now the feeling's amplified.
But knowing that love is there, but yet so far away.
Taking just your friendship away made me feel I died.
So if ever you wonder, My feelings for you will never sway.

    It's really sweet and beautiful, rhyme and stuff didn't seem to be your concern in the poem. but it still flowed great.

    Its a short poem but with vast emotions. Some parts really caught my eye, like when you said "its so hard for this emotion to be smothered, hiding them so deem, where theyve always been". And "wanting everything now the feeling amplified, but knowing that love is there, but yet so far away". I can truely relate to those section. The way you started it in my opinion was not the best way, try to review it somehow. Generally, great write.
