The Sense of Dawn

by Indian Comma Bean   May 27, 2009

Uplifted to the tone of silence,
Inspiration in the slightest shadow,
I stumble upon the wooden surface
While splinters grace my footsteps.

Shaking fingers greet the window pane,
Familiar with the warmth of day,
I glance upon the oaken terrace
While sparrows grace the azure sky.

Attuned to the notion of temptation,
Intimate aromas tickle my nose,
I walk out upon the emerald plain
While nature's grace is bestowed upon me.
