It's sad when you find a picture,letter,note, shirt, anything, of someone you once knew.
You realize how much things have changed.
How far you've d r i f t e d.
How time has played its part and now you no longer know each other.
At all.
Thinking back, these people were everything;
they shaped my childhood, my perspectives, my life.
So many Promises of Staying in touch, never fulfilled.
And now, i continue on with my Life,
as if i couldn't had prevented it,
as if it was "meant" to be that way.
But do you think so?
Do you truly believe that some people
are only meant to stay in your life for a little while,
only meant to teach you one little thing
that will impact you for the rest of your life,
then disappear?
How should one react upon seeing them again?
What would you do?
Walk on by as though you don't know them?
Stop and say "Hi! Remember Me?"?
Would you even have the courage?
