Things have changd for me, no more relying on you
Thoughts of me and you have gone out of my mind
I never used to make an effort to look nic
But now i don't go any where with out doing my hair and make-up
I feel confident, like never before, because i know i can find some one else
Some on to appreciate me, treat me nice, spoil me and even love me for who i am, not having to try to change for anyone
But one thing will never change
I love you but in a different way now.
Because you'll never forget your first!

Thats only bcause thats how i'm used to acting around like when im with you.
But you can ask your mates
i've all grown up in many of ways, but all are good
I act mature, dress differently and grown up in other places too!
And maybe the day you see, you might realise you lost the best thing
Your mates tell me your new bird isn't nothing compaired to me and they say maybe one day you'll come to your senses and not be so blind and realise!
You think i'm not over you cause i haven't found some one new
But thats because i don't need anyone to depend on.

Yeah it was hard but i did it.
I'm not messing my up my life by being with some one.
I am going to get good grades, go to college, get a career make sure my life is on track before any lads come into the picture
Just to let you know, i'm happy on my own, i'm not like you, i don't need some one else to make me happy.
Because the greatest love off all is too love your self for who you are.
