Escape

by Unknown2Thyself   May 29, 2009

Cuts slowly take up space on my wrists,
Death crawls into my thoughts,
Emotions have become strained,
Tears no longer left to run,
Blood so shallow a life is sure to end.

Words can not describe this pain,
that eats me from the inside out.
Slicing, dicing, chowing me apart!
Slowly grasping what is known as my heart.

Slowly life begins to fade,
and underneath my smile is a heart full of pain.
My lungs are grasped in an iron grip,
as the grip tightens the air begins to creep out.
As the air escapes my lungs,
the life escapes my body.
