For 'Like water for Chocolate'

by Artemis Night   Jun 4, 2009

The way she came and way she went
Are opposites indeed.
Fight as she did, she finally won
The warnings weren't heed.

Rosaura stole her sister's man
Now Tita's all upset
"Their loves a lie". She sits; asks why
For Pedro, she can't get.

Forbidden love will never come
So Tita goes to cook
Under her mom there's no freedom
Her future like a book.

Roberto's gone; has passed away
she left with Dr. John
Her mom now sick; an end drew quick
Now mom and kid both gone.

The only thing that holds her back;
Elena's angry ghost
The thoughts to send this love an end
Is what she wants the most.

What can she do when love comes by
And then it goes away?
Because he just can't be her
Some deaths are here to stay.
