The Craving of a Lack of Chains Tempts

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Jun 6, 2009

Straight into the belly of the beast
I am alone and I know it
My heart, beat slowly, numb out this world
Be gone spinning thoughts of what can't

Something that would allow me to be sane
Would I even let me find out
Sacred thoughts of disappointing you
No, I will have to hold myself

I will lose track of time, slip away
Please, forgive this informal sigh
The craving of a lack of chains tempts
Feelings, which only I can cry

Subtlety, playing the background song
How I wish I could taste the sound
The craving of a lack of chains tempts
Breathe your presence in through my mouth
