Come Back

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Jun 21, 2009

Days and weeks have passed by.
And I wonder where you are now.
I love you more than anything.
Don't ask me why, when and how.

No matter where you go.
Just please come back to me.
I promise I'll be your safety.
And your port from the roaring sea.

Come back to my arms.
Hug me so hard and tight.
And erase my tears with your hands.
And remove all my frights.

Look at my eyes.
Don't they show what I feel?
This thing I feel is no lie.
It's a fairy tale that turned real.

With you is where I always end up.
After the useless desperate roams
So take me into your arms.
After all, you are my home.

* Miraculous how the heart takes a minute to forgive and forget, despite the pain that lasted for years.

The term love conquers all or love is blind is so true. We continue to forgive, and want what might have been the most painful time in our lives ..all in the name of love
