I ate the rooster before the break of day.

Days have past by my gate, as i wait for a deliverance

time drifted away, as i lay in the dark, but i never drifted anywhere.

behind the screen, i tried too find myself, but i wasn't able too see anything.

words uttered in drunkenness work very well until you wake up and listen too them.

music tells the truth, its a shame i cant hear it!

friends they know you know what they know, yet they feel it important too make sure.

time is a healer, time is a jet plane, it moves too fast, ain't it a shame that all we learn cant last.

they say the darkest hour is right before the dawn, well its been close too the dawn for a long time.

I'm still waiting for the rooster too crow, and i think you know i already ate him.

the day that never comes, guess il just break my bones and watch them heal.and il wait for eternity too greet the coming light.

the endless night is an ocean, and they say it ends at the shore, but when the clocks broken I'm not so sure.

you can exercise your vocal chords as much as you like, but words don't mean your exercising your demons.

if you cry il cry with you! we can wet each others shoulders, maybe out of our chips a plant will grow.

if we lay here forever in the bitterness, surely something good will happen. they said you got too have belief, thats my belief.

can you tell me a secret! il tell you one, iv got lots you see, just one.. i need something too call my own.

if theres an after life, how can you ever claim i will die one day and that i should live today like my last

if today was my last id live it exactly the same, id just eat a lot more.

and if today was my last id get a life.
