Give Up The Ghost

It's time to give up the ghost
It's time for me to let you go
Because if something was going to happen between us
I'd already know

And knowing that nothing has happened
Then I shouldn't believe that something will
It only hurts me more in the end
For me to hope for something still

It's obvious to me now
Though I didn't want to see
That you would have made a move
If you had really wanted me

And so I'm writing this poem
I'm hoping that the words will do
Hoping that they'll help me get it
That he's just not that into you.
