Wear your sunlight like scars

by Byron   Jun 28, 2009

In the summers heat we lay perfectly still
In the tall of the grass where we feel so tranquil
As the sun shines from the quiet sky high above
Where the birds all fly with the grace of a dove
We can't imagine a more perfect state
In which we could never come to create
An image we've longed to share
Like two children playing truth or dare
We're immersed so deep into this state
It's just a feeling and perfect date
As we lay staring hard into the sun
I wish this was forever and never come undone
