Deadly

by Raychil   Jun 28, 2009

It creeps just like a spider
Tickling your senses
But its such a funny feeling
You lower your defenses

It slithers in like a snake
Silent through your skin
Venom so deadly
You won't feel it seep in

Like a little needle prick
Too small to ever see
Too misjudged for you to care
Just like a tiny flea

But once it gets you that's the end
You've become its prey
Never to see a bright blue world
Never a brighter day

It runs through your mind
Eats away emotions
Leaves you cold and empty
Smooths over you like lotion

It covers every inch
But only you can see it
Panic overruns you
Soon you will be it.

I really liked this, I commend your ability to put something so chaotic into words. I really liked the imagery and the similes you used were outstanding... 5/5
