This is to show your worth to me
Though this poem could never entail
There is nothing more than stature
And the way you make my heart fail

This is to show your worth to me
Thought I know you couldn't possibly understand
How I go weak at the knees when I look in your eyes
Even after the year we've been together

This is to show your worth to me
Even though I put you down
And tell you that you don't deserve me
When I know it's the other way around

This is to show your worth to me
I don't care about you age
We can do this if we stick together
People just don't understand us; they're on a different page.

Even thought you took too long
How I thought you weren't interested in me
When my feelings were so strong

This is to show your worth to me
And how our relationship is stronger every time
How important it is to me
To know that you are only mine

Even when I mess around
Because I know that you trust me
And that keeps my feet planted firmly on the ground

This is to show your worth to me
Even when the world is against us
I know that I will have all I need
And will do whatever I must

And when it comes to that special time
When we decide to have our first child
