Good-bye Dawn.

by eR   Jul 5, 2009

There's a voice inside, that no one cares to hear
& when the stars collide, the tone is all too clear

The sun on the horizon,
Casting long shadows across the land
I see a new day coming,
Slipping, then, away, faster then sand

Now at its peak in the dewy sky,
So jaded, excitement all but gone,
I cannot help but to question why
Why'd we hafta say good-bye to Dawn?
Goodbye Dawn, a new day has shone
With a whole new view to look upon

It's killing all the shadows
Who knew the light could outgrow
Chasing fog from all meadows, Dense air overflow
Caught up in the undertow, Swaying boats to and fro

There's a voice inside, rising, blasting out in everyone
& as stars collide, ev'n the blind can see its just begun.
