The Difference

To look into the future,
Without getting off track.
Reaching out for that star
No matter what holds you back.

Flying to the moon
And sailing across the seas.
Living life to the fullest
And not on your knees.

Going with your instinct,
Without a doubt in your mind.
Searching within yourself,
Knowing it's you that you'll find.

Living in the moment,
Yet having no regrets.
Willing to take the risk,
Regardless of the bet.

Seeing the truth
In the innocence of the eye.
Captivated in the moment,
Shedding tears of joy to cry.

Looking up at the world,
Smiling sky high.
Happy with your life
Knowing at anytime you can die.

Life is a many thing,
With obstacles and walls.
But believing in yourself
To surpass it, through it all.

To never let,
The dark side of you win.
To happily smile,
Rather than unfortunately grin.

To read this poem
