A Spenserian sonnet

by arabelle   Jul 14, 2009

The only wish I declare
To set my spirit free
From this hard despair
Is for you to love me
To fully decree
That your heart is mine
My sweet, sweet Marie
Our souls will twine
And you'll never decline
My love or my trust
So rare and so fine
For shallow lust
When you can have it all
At your beck and call
