Paranoos

by Ares   Jul 21, 2009

Sometimes you can be so cool,
sometimes you can be both condescending and cruel,
Never thought I'd reach inside of your head,
never thought that I could preach to the dead.

And now I'm staring at the ceiling,
thinking my own morbid thoughts,
and now she's holding me tighter,
never thought I'd grow up to be a fighter.

Seconds fly - moments like these are passing me by.
Like the sun - I'm waking up staring down the barrel of your gun.

And to think - that you taught me how to live, promises shattered. and to wish - you showed me a better way to accept the deadliest monsters there was.

Creeping up outside.
