My Heart's Teardrop

by McGeek   Jul 21, 2009

As our loved ones grow older
The innocence reappears;
Reminiscing about their younger, funner years.
Once again so frail, so fragile;
That almost lost look in his eyes.
Longing for dear family and friends;
Reluctant to say last goodbyes.
Not one tear, not one cry.
Heading towards the soul's next stop.
Immune to the machines keeping him alive.
Yet he dies alone with her heart's teardrop.
