Maybe if you knew her
What she went through every night.
How scared she is to stand up and fight.

Maybe if you knew her
What makes her thoughts collide.
How angry she feels inside.

Maybe if you knew her
What makes her heart beat fast.
Maybe that coulda made her last.

    An unexpected ending in my opinion, which gave greater meaning to the entire poem on a second read. The fact that if someone actually knew her, she might not have expired...a problems many face in today's world. I like it. Great job!
