Wintery Weather

I love the days of summer
they make smile with glee
I love the nights in winter
the smell of the christmas tree
I love the coal fire
its warmth and glowing flames
I love the snow
however cold it may be
I love the christmas carols
the carolers sing for me
waiting under the mistletoe
for my love to walk by
then suprise them with and quick peck or a wink of the eye
then everybody turns to glance a quick stare
I love the festive period
because my family are all there
there at dinner
there at night
some are still there when the suns shining bright
I love the festive period
it makes us all feel warm
I love the festive period
you can drink from dawn till dawn
but most of all I love it
because it brings us all together
and that is why I don't mind the bloody freezing weather.
