The Friend You Weren't

I was lying on the floor.
You never came to save me.
I was crying in the streets.
You didn't come to get me.
My heart was torn to pieces.
You never glued it back.
Now I have one question.
Why do you treat me like that?
I know you see,
What's happening to me,
So please don't ignore my screams of agony.
