A Liquid Funeral

by Indian Comma Bean   Jul 31, 2009

Slowly, deep turquoise bodies lie awake,
Encroached upon by darker tides
Weaving ardent, foaming webs about.

Forever shall memories be evoked
While the journey through the nether left
Woes and thoughts drowned in silence.

Atrocities aside, flesh and blood is
Spat upon the vessel hull.
Carried by the gale it graces human skin.

Eyes stalk a teal trail
Abandoned by twisting steel,
Yet only serenity flirts with such a sight.
