Ballad Of A Broken Heart

by Mike   Aug 3, 2009

We both fell down
But you left me to drown
Gasping for the air
I began to feel my heart tear

We both knew that this life was unfair
No one could replace you
They just could not compair
Don't let him take my place

I dream every night of your face
The look of surrender in those big brown eyes
Please baby let's go, go back to that place

Look back to the days we would hold hands and say I love you! There's something left for you and me, give me the chance to make things right and end this silly fight.

we both fell down
But I was left to drown
Gasping for air
My heart began to tear

Everyone told you where to run
Everyone told you where to hide
Nobody told me what to do
Nobody told me what to say

But I dont regret a single day
Each one that passes girl I pray
Listen to me when I say theres no more running away

We both knew that this life is unfair
No one could replace you
They just would not compair
Dont let him take my place

The last thing you said was you will always be my love. I still believe thats true, you and I can work as one and beat this world, change it forever. All we have to do is work together.

I wonder where you are
I wonder what your doing
You always believed in me
I was to blind to see
When I woke it was to late
It was just me and me alone

We both fell down
We both know life is unfair
Both of us started to tear
Both of us started to drown
Our hands separated by fear
We were left gasping for air
No one could replace you
They just would not compair
Don't let him take my place

Always and no matter what you will be my love
No matter how imperfect you or others think you are
Your perfect to me
Now I know I messed up bad
I let you down in the worst way
It hurts me everyday
You were the best thing in my life
I'm sorry...I've been dying to let you know
