A poem for God...

You welcomed me with open open arms,
and I hesitated to embrace,
It took me years to let you in,
and in minutes the pain you erased...

Forgive me Lord,
for the time I wasted,
for not acknowledging,
you by my side,
for now I know,
the flesh is weak,
and it was foolish pride.

You never let me down,
and always right on time,
and even when I'm late,
you never hear,
the clock chime.

Thank you for being apart of me,
please continue to help me strive,
please help me to keep my faith,
because thats all I have to keep you alive!
