The pain that you dont see...

Ill smile just for you
ill laugh to show I'm okay
ill have fun to prove it
ill say everything's fine

but when your not there
and I'm alone in the darkness
my pain comes out
and takes over

when I'm with you
its not hard to fake a laugh or a smile
or even to say I'm okay
but i just don't want you to know

the pain you don't see
will never be shown
for ill feel weak and vulnerable
and want to be strong

the next day ill be the same
ill act normal and be happy
and when you ask are you okay?
ill look at you with sincere eyes and say I'm fine
