Laughter

by LiiSaMaRiie   Aug 13, 2009

With shame filled eyes,
He sat down in his chair.
They laughed him down.
How very unaware.

Without one word,
He faced the front.
Even his teacher?!
How dare she be so blunt.

He was not stupid.
Not meant to be laughed at!
Did they not see his pain.
....But mom had said he wasn't fat...

And what about his "friends"
Why had they joined the others?
How could they point and laugh
When they were meant to be brothers...

He walked all the way home.
Thoughts rushed in his mind.
All those stupid little people..
Were to be left behind.

His parents weren't home.
He walked up to his room.
Laughter filled his ears.
He knew what'd come soon.

The Tylenol on his nightstand
The escape he'd drempt.
He did NOT deserve the way
Laughter chose his fate....

Too late...
