I have pictures of you

I have pictures of you.
Here, and there, and everywhere.
Click, and there you were.
Click, and I had you again.

I captured you at your moments,
at different times, on different days.
I have your smiles, and your eyes.
I even have your tears.

You're there for me to look at.
I can see your face whenever I want.
You smile for me, and cry for me,
and look at me with those eyes.

You're in my pocket, and by my bed.
There for me to touch, anytime.
I know it'll never be the real thing again,
not like it used to be.

I wish you were still here with me.
Here with me for real, and forever.
So, I close my eyes, and remember,
when I used to take pictures of you.

    My type of poem simple easy to read with all the good qualities I like of my poetry. flow. meter with sufficient contents to stir the emotions as I am sure as you get older you will some day in your life do as you said in your poem:

    So, I close my eyes, and remember,
    when I used to take pictures of you.

    Thank God time is a great healer.
