Sky-lit Night

Sky-lit Night

The manipulating night inspires lies;
from dust soot's fallen from the tower skies.
Arising for a final strike in lights dawn,
yesterday's tomorrow, and our future s gone.

Ashes mold from the fleshless corpse.
Animals massacred with ruthless remorse.
The fallen soldiers rise from their graves,
to accompany their killers unclear with rave.

Spineless spirits descend lower to cower in fear-
the emotion that defies will free to a tear.
Explain the reason the curtain of me
your answer is feeble upon truth and honesty.

I alone defy myself enough to follow thee.
Yet you're accepting trepidation upon your misery.
Shame; your pity-less soul shadowed into the abyss,
engulfed in flames, a sinister cackle heard in bliss.

This
is
the
End
