Security

by Felicia Tursi   Aug 16, 2009

Her long sleeves hide,

the hidden pain.

hoping that with that,

she wont have to explain.

of why she has this,

internal depression.

when her cover up is,

her external expression..

her heart in pain,

her wrist bleeding.

her jacket secures,

her insecure needing.

her eyes so hopeful,

waiting for the day.

that someone Will come,

and sweep her away.

but her lethal razor,

sounds like a better answer.

but to everyone else,

it seems to nuclear.

so she pulls up her sleeves,

to that palm of her hand.

wondering where,

her heart shall land.

while shes holding on tight,

to the memories of her past.

and with it knowing,

none of it could last.

shes holding on to,

an unspoken dream.

shes holding it all in

until shes ready to scream.

tearing her apart,

while shes trying to keep it all in.

hiding her most favorite,

secret little sin.

not telling anyone,

how she feels inside.

always knowing that,

in this she will hide.

shaking while she drops,

the razor onto the ground.

hoping that no one,

is around.

as she crashes,

as she breaks down.

smiles drift away,

shes a permanent frown.

so love her leave her need her,

but you cant break her.

she already broke herself

with this rumor.
