Romantic Birthday Poem

by -=-*_a_[n]_g_[e]_l_*-=-   Aug 16, 2009

Greetings may have come a thousand strong
On a day when the brightest sunflower grazed
Although this thought is anything but long
May I say, you're the only star I'll ever gaze

As the sweetest wind wraps my pale skin
A memory from a fairy tale strikes a bolt of lightning
I dream of swimming through your hair till I grow a fin
Let it guide me to your heart forever shining

Words are not fair to be compared
To each time you bless me a single stare
To look away, I take no such dare
Burn me again, my undying flare
