Secret Place

by Jonathan Coker   Aug 21, 2009

Babe I know a secret place,
Where lovers go,
It is where the sun touches the mountains,
And the moon touches the sea.

Where the bark on the trees is not rough,
But softer than the snow that is high on the mountain,
Where the birds fly and the stars always shine,
Like tiny diamonds that are in your eyes.

It is where peace exist,
And there is no bloodshed,
And rubies fall from the sky that are as red as your lips,
Where hearts burn bright,
With love and passion instead of hate.

Everyone is wealthy and no one is poor,
Even if they do not have money,
For in this place,
This land of mine,
The only thing that matters is love,
And babe every time you're with me,
And touch my hand,
All is as it should be,
In the secret place,
Where lovers lay.
