I never thought I'd hear about struggles
it is a word that makes me sick
I wonder if things will get better
can it be possible with just a click.
I never thought I'd hear about foreclosures
how many people lost homes and stuff
they lost everything that they worked for
I hope we survive when things get rough.
I never thought I'd hear about a recession
employers are scaling back on jobs
what are people to do without money
they storm the unemployment lines like mobs.
I never thought I'd hear about inflation
this is what keeps my wallet skim
you can save money-it wont matter
your wallet will always be left slim.
Struggles, foreclosures, inflation and recession
stand back when these four mix
these are hard trials we go through life
will there ever be a permanent fix?
