Can you laugh too hard?
can you smile too much?
is your heart supposed to skip a beat with a single touch?
is his presence supposed to make you fly?
and does he always seem to comfort you when you want to cry?
when he holds you in his arms,
are you supposed to feel like no one could possibly cause you harm?
is he supposed to kiss your nose,
then lightly stroke your leg with the petal of a rose?
is he supposed to stay up just to watch you sleep,
or catch every tear when you start to weep?
to most of these questions,
the answer would be no.
but he should always be around through the high and low.
