Your Love

by Viola   Aug 25, 2009

Your love
It's like the vast rain after a drought
But my I'm so hard to hold
I'm like the waterproof layer on a raincoat
Not allowing myself to get soaked
Always just a little too careful
And you're tired of it by now
I can tell

Your eyes have always spoken
More than your lips ever could dear
So don't bother
I'm still trying to strip off this protective coat
To reveal my heart to you
You said soon enough
You will stop waiting for that to happen

Your love
Is like the rain after a drought
I'm afraid if I ever strip bare
I'll drown
