Prisoner

by Avrii Monrielle   Aug 26, 2009

When did I last meet you?
when did you enter my life,
and I saw you
and you met me,
and we talked.

Chains (invisible) wrapped around your feet
chains of love and mutilation

Blood (dark red) on your wrists and hands
as you hurt but are willing, like a masochist

and your dark red blood trickles to the floor.

wasn't easy to meet you, but here you are
as i lie on suicide hill, waiting for my escape.
waiting for goodbye
because im scared
i dont want this
but i cant stay here.

you wrap my arms around me although i
don't know if it's real because your arms are invisible
the way your chains are around your feet.

i dont know what's going to happen
i'm lonely.
i'm scared.

unsure of your existence
because you're invisible to me,
even though you're a prisoner
and [[[[iframe]]]]d you.

i didn't mean to, i just
wanted to exist. and be happy. and
i should be the prisoner now, the one
they make carry heavy loads.

your load looks heavier than mine
they make you hold everyone else's troubles
and sorrows, but you don't complain
even though we framed you.

society hurts you, and society destroys you,
i take the keys and run.
"call the witness to the stand..."
i don't know a Jesus.
