The purity of bliss

by sammie   Aug 26, 2009

I remember my first birthday, and all those shiney gifts, i remember how i felt, the purity of bliss.
i remember behind the bleachers i had my very first kiss, i remember how i was feeling the purity of bliss.
but what i remember now is the night you said good bye, you looked at me without a smile and a teardrop in your eye.

i remember how i felt and i can tell you this that was not the night for feeling the purity of bliss.
i wish that you could see how i miss you so,
and i will always love you more than you could know.
and now i sit alone and often reminisce, about how i used to have that feeling, the purity of bliss.
