This reminds me of Delilah,
Delilah's name is sweet.
She stared at nonsense walls
and nonsense she would eat.
And open air surrounded her,
as caged in as she was.
Open eyes were blinded cries
'cause all she saw were claws.
She gripped her breath,
her breath gripped her.
She fine-tuned final pause.
Gave up on heart,
gave up on tooth,
gave up on nature-laws.
Nothingness was sweet,
Delilah's own to own.
Can't overcome breakdown,
her body's not hers to loan.
She doesn't live inside
outside, she cannot dwell.
To our sweet, nonexistent Delilah,
in love a dead man fell.
From Earth herself
his sweet had come
after life had taken it's toll.
He couldn't hear
her soundless speech
as he dug a pre-dug hole.
He fed her
through her silent screams
he fed her
he found dreamless dreams
he fed her
and he came around
he fed her
to find her soul was bound.
He fed her
to himself
the one whom nonsense eat
he fed her
to himself
the one who once was sweet.
