Ive seen the stars shine in the sky
But never as bright as the sparkle in your eyes
I could tell that you wanted to cry
Yet you held it in, just laughed and hugged us goodbye
I remember the last time I saw your face
The sound of your voice and your arms embrace
I never knew that would be the last time
Thoughts of why this happened keep going through my mind
Your words guide me every day that I feel weak
Just trying to be the woman you always saw in me
Having to go through life without you
Has shattered my soul and broke my heart in two
