Where I'm Meant to Be.

by Restless Envy   Aug 28, 2009

Again there's that feeling,
The one that stirs my mind.
Somewhere caught in this confusion,
Causing my sight to blind.

There's a steady beat,
Coming from my chest.
Blood rushes to my head,
I loose control of the rest.

The constant nagging worry,
Where do I go from here?
No time to be hesitant,
What do I really have to fear?

My mind taunts me,
As I hear whispers from within.
What are you so afraid of?
This feeling has just began.

Adrenaline racing to escape this cage,
Just take one more breath.
Eagerly turning the page,
Let this feeling engulf you.

Your breath upon my ear,
The touch of your fingers.
The taste of your kiss,
Every feeling lingers.

I close my eyes,
And breathe you in.
Relaxing my mind,
As it slips into oblivion.

This is where I'm meant to be,
Safe inside your arms,
Held against your chest,
And close to your heart.
