They were right . . . sorta .

My friends ask me what it is that i see in you;
i tell them, "everything you don't"

they ask me why I'd rather spend time with you instead of them;
i say, "he 's my world, he deserves my time. he treats me the way a girl should be treated"

they call you a loser right in front of me;
so i get mad and don't talk to them for awhile.

they say that I'm too good for you;
and they were right
i am too good for you.

i should've listen to them from the start .

they seen you for what you really were.

i was love-struck and didn't want to believe everything they tried to tell me .

they seen you were nothing but a wannabe.

they knew that you didn't treat me with the respect i should've got.

they seen the tears i cried when i wanted nothing but for you to die.

they knew that it would eventually end between us.

i mean, it's that i didn't mean it when i said that i loved you. i meant it when i said it, and i swear i still do. it's just a different kind of love from the one before.
