Why?

My friend said that he loved me
Promised me that he would never leave me.
I couldn't help but to smile
I slowly fell in love with him
And when we met sparks flew
I kissed him and he kissed me
I smiled and blushed held him tight
He went away and I cried
It hurt for him to leave.
I tried to talk to him and he shunned away
I saw him and we both felt something but ignored it anyway
I love you still and he told me in return
And again we drifted apart
And this time we stated that way
And one day I asked him Why?
