Nothing but a name

by Twisted Fate   Sep 7, 2009

You see me as inferior,
as you glare with pure disdain,
and trample on my bleeding heart,
while ignoring all my pain.

I know you see me standing here,
with tears in both my eyes,
and yet you do not care at all,
blinded by cruel despise.

with ignorance upon your heart,
you just don't understand,
you often say it's peace you want,
so offer me your hand.

for all of us are equal,
and have rights the very same,
the word “different” is meaningless,
it's nothing but a name.
