The Line Of Blood.

A shattered girl leaves a line of blood behind.
Raised by you but not loved.
She roams this world looking for love.
Her heart is so bruised and aching for someones touch.
Question her if you must, but as you can see.
She will continue to keep on walking;
As if nothing happened.
And the pain doesn't cut her to pieces.
Her world has fallen apart all too times,
Now it's time to carry on,
The blood will always be bleeding.
From the hole in her heart;
Like an open wound that can never be stitched together.
You cannot heal her, all you can do is watch,
As she walks away, alone.
Without a touch of the mother she once knew.
She looks to the empty sky,
Something inside her stirs about and makes her eyes weep.
"Mother, I'm fine.
You don't need to worry about me ever again"
And she keeps on walking, like she always does.
The line of blood deeply following her,
Dripping like red ruby's.
Never shall she turn back or show her hurt.
Her heart will linger with emotional pain forever,
But she shall never give up, never go back.
Her head hangs low and stares at her feet.
"Do you even care?" A slow whisper escapes her throat.
The line of blood begins to fade, as does she.
But the ghastly red remains on her palms & wrists.
The line of blood will never leave,
As do the pain.
