Misdirection

by Madison   Sep 19, 2009

Lost in darkness unknown to joy
interpreting words in ever changing meanings
they play along a simple line
turning fast to reeling imagery
unkept thoughts bombard the for front
uncouth words remain behind
twisting vipers darting forward
pushing reason harshly aside
could this mean
and maybe so
quickly become phrases of choice
trouble lurks in every misconception
false accusation lies close at hand
twisting gently between the interception
of every small curt reply
was this this
and is this that
cutting short every deep sigh
