Have You Ever Heard the Sound the Wind Makes

by Scott E Buttross   Jun 15, 2004

Have you ever heard the sound the wind makes
And the ground shakes the fear around
Our foundation brakes
Only once can you see your face
When she sold you a pale taste
Forever gone now with a song of how
Heart breathing, cannot be saved beneath
The rubble.
Stop this from leaving me when I found
To late,
Oh so late….
Sunset my heart
Please don’t forsake this trouble I take
On
When my heart beats a mumble
To late,
Oh so late…
I use to be so strong
Maybe it’s my fate to bring this song
To clear my slate of verses….
Curses….
And find where I belong.
