My Angel In Disguise

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Sep 25, 2009

Heaven..
I can feel it in your arms.
I can see it in your eyes.
You must be an angel in disguise.

Hell..
I can feel it when you're gone.
I can see it when you're not here.
Right beside me, my dear.

What is it that you do?
That has gotten me so into you?
Maybe it's the way your eyes smile.
When we're not alone for a while.

Or maybe it's the way you hold my hands.
Then you look straight ahead.
Because you don't want to show your love.
And the tears that your eyes shed.

But i know you love me.
You don't have to say you do.
Because we are one soul dwelling in two bodies.
For you are me, and i am you.

* I wrote this when i was in a romantic mood, though I'm recently single, and enjoying the status very much.

I must say that this was a lovely read. The emotions were so true and evident that it came straight from the heart. My only advice would be to limit your punctuation, you don't need a period after every single line since a majority of them are continuations from the previous line.

Other than that small minor detail, this was a fantastic write. Keep up the excellent work.

    Peace, Joe

A lovely write! Very nicely written, and expressed :) Yes... I loved this part too...

"Because we are one soul dwelling in two bodies.
For you are me, and i am you. "

..... it just ended it beautifully!

    Well done Walah!

How lovely. Love this line. ^ Because we are one soul dwelling in two bodies. That's how a true love should be. Well done.
