Do we dare?

you're the one I dream about.

But up is down and right is wrong.
Black is white and dark is light.

Holding on to the past,
because the future scares us.
Never letting go of it but trying
desperately to move on.

Afraid to leave and even more
afraid to stay.

Realizing how much you care,
And yet do we dare?

You hurt so fiercely when she around,
and I am numb without you.
So what are we to do?

to take that leap?
To leave the past for another?
To be and to have one another?
