Gray Meets Yellow

by kaylajoyx3   Sep 30, 2009

The yellow of day pressed against the moonlight of gray
Each shining their own way
Somewhere in between yellow magnetized to gray
Yellow taking all the dark away
Repelled, however, by their opposite poles
Each breath of wind hurts in an instant
Blue and yellow cry
Screams through the sky
For yellow to listen
To gray's good bye
Darkness will encompass all will ever see
The sum of everything sets and rises will ever be
Gray and yellow separate the sky
Producing a freshly darkened sky
Beginning a sunset of yellow
A moon no longer dressed in white
The breath of gray roams across the moonshine
Forever where the hurt will stop and stay alive
The hurt presses on as the wind challenges at every word
As gray finally penetrates through the light of yellow a final good bye

Absolutely amazing work!! the language in this poem is unique and very different to other poems I have read. the description is very good and the title is eye catching which is a bonus.
